Forte had a sweet trip but clearly better than these and good chance he's the Derby Favorite. Rocket Can holding 2nd was painful for my bankroll. Too dumb to make money even with Cyclone Mischief running 3rd. 98 Beyer for Forte.
In the Gotham I did not think Slip Mahoney would be closing but the track was sort of favoring those type of runners so maybe it helped? Nice pick by Andy Serling of NYRA on the winner Raising Cain who gets a 90 Beyer. Top Picks 2: 0-1-0-1. Back for the Tampa Bay Derby Saturday.
