The Belichick media Revenge Tour would have a lot more impact if GM Bill wasn’t such a disaster the prior four years. I’d fire Mayo for a top offensive coordinator to grow with Maye, but this team also wasn’t built to win in 2024 with the pass blocking and skill players he inherited. Great that they were number one in rush defense last year under Bill, that got you a 13 loss season instead of 14 losses? Investment in premium picks at positions Bill’s kids just happened to be coaching instead of where it matters in a modern NFL is killing the team.

Excited to hear the comeback is good. Always hit or miss with those docs. Pats are hilarious to watch sometimes. Expected during a rebuild but I do not know how much leeway they gave mayo. I honestly thought the niners would let Kyle go after last year and his inability to manage a fucking game clock but, he is an offensive genius, coming in 2nd and so close year after year, the window is closing quick. Kittle, Warner, Trent, Bosa, Purdy, Juice, so many others deserve a title.

Red sox are something else, trading for old guys at the deadline and going flat to finish .500, wonderful, although they did better and the rookies looked nice, maybe some of blooms work idk. Bright spots for sure but I have always been in the minority when it comes to Alex Cora, I do not like him but, who cares what I think,

Haven't bet for a while because expensive I lose a lot and bonus bets are few in far between but I always like your thoughts, learned a lot.

Wish Thursdays weren't your day, maybe a weekend I can catch you somewhere. Busy life here.

Much love and respect to the Mutman, WEEI downfall is directly because of losing you lol.

good looks

Great Stuff, Coach.

First - great shoutout to Jerry Trupiano...not one to be put to sleep over contractual negotiation talk, I don't care what happened with him, or Orsillo...I just know that "Swiiing and a drive! Way Back...way back...GONE!" was one of the classic home run calls in Boston History, and Boston media never shined the way it did off Donny's forehead...Second: I said it a few months ago on here: Ken Laird's dream of scrubbing 'EEI clean of the meathead mentality now that "O", Sheppard, Zo & Smerlas are gone, was complete in ousting Gresh...the last of the "go on the air and just say what pops into your head" brigade (OK, I'm sure Ordway did some show prep, but Pete S.? Nope)...great perspective on the Kraft/Belichick/Mayo cluster, Mut...F'boro is starting to make Jerry Jones look like a selfless, pragmatic owner in comparison...as far as 2004 doc, it doesn't take much to impress me, I would watch footage of he men's urinals at Fenway from 2004 and get nostalgic, so, yeah...I'll watch.

Keep it up Mut...I won't get into my existential rant on the wisdom of a sport completely driven and supported by the betting world, and on horsies no less, but...for another day.
