The Pats should have made a move as there were moves that they could have made, as witnessed by the trades that happened. I’m not surprised by what Vrable said, it’s not like he can come out and say, “Yeah, you’re right we should have done something.” That’s a good way to get fired.
The OWNER OF THE YEAR award wasn’t an industry award from the NTRA, TOBA, Breeders’ Cup, Eclipse Awards, or any of the traditional governing bodies. It was MyRacehorse’s internal promotional award, created and handed out by the company as part of its marketing push to grow its brand and attract younger bettors/fans. I am 70 and have owned horses all over America for a good part of my life. Why be offended by a marketing group giving the guy they put in place the award for publicity, with all the other worries in racing? No in their right mind has ever viewed racing as a meritocracy, have they?

As always a good read Mut. The EEI stuff is incredible
Thanks, Chuck. Given the Drake Maye Hype, those final #s in December could look really bad.
Mut this is the weekend. I’m taking out a second mortgage on the house and putting it on that Pats money line.
I like the Pats too, Rag. Drake Maye great spot
LFG MUT!! Huge W. Never a doubt in my mind
Rag! Great win.
Bob Kraft defenders hate when you spend money on good teams. You can only make a splash every three years in Free Agency.
Speaking of splashes, No Editorial Note after poor ratings come out for FS1? Davey Page Views needs to show some accountability.

Gambling was more fun before it was legal.
Bad take, DTH
