I totally agree with you on the big bat, pitching and defense and analytics, all that jazz can't make up for a dude who can 30-35 homers with 100 RBI. It's simple and very obvious to see. Really only the NFL's defense can make up for a shitty offense. Didn't Trent Dilfer start a Superbowl? lol Red Sox looked okay on opening, that head tap from Roman was huge, Chapman looks good. I think we can make the post-season, if we do not add a bat maybe we can get some step ups, a few players hitting 20 homers with like 75-80 RBI would be great. Defense looks great and that has been a major struggle for us the past like, 9 seasons lol.
As far as your boss, is Dave just naturally an asshole or does he add umpf to it for reactions. I can't see why he or anyone wouldn't like you. but what do I know.

Facing Pete Alonso is going to be rough this year....
It was embarrassing, great start and then we immediately throw a middle middle to Suarez and we lose the lead. We need more Abreu in our lineup, like 2 or 3 hitters like him. Dude can rake and his energy is, what we need. Roman (which is surprisingly my son's name as well, thinking we were original lol) looks good but, consistency and slow down on the ABS, no way we should be out by the 3rd or 4th innings.
Dave needs to lighten up and your “friend” Kirk Minihane needs to set it right with Dave, baggy is very different than goofy. We need you on the Triple Crown content!
Finding Red Sox games will mostly be straight forward in my opinion and Lou should be broadcasting all the games on NESN
Bradfo kicking off Friday for WEEI afternoons was a good start. Haven’t really been listening much to the afternoon stuff lately, but that seems like a good spot. Maybe I’m just a baseball dork.
