They covered it on Thursday’s episode and Tom Fornelli basically said he thinks Charlie Baker is full of shit that removing player props will preserve the integrity of the game and protect the athletes, which I agree with since the prop bets mean the Gaming Commissions are overseeing all bets and are therefore are policing it to catch any irregularities/suspicious activity. The Gaming Commissions were the ones who flagged Shane Pinto, Jontay Porter and Kayshon Boutte
Here in Wisconsin, FanDuel, DraftKings, PENN, etc. are all pretty much banned since there is a law that doesn’t allow any non-owned tribe casino within a 20 mile radius of any tribe own casino (i.e. Potawatomi), so I haven’t had a chance to utilize any prop bets unless I go to Illinois or when I go home to visit my family in New Jersey for the holidays. I would absolutely love to be able to prop bet on college sports in Wisconsin.
WEEI is almost unlistenable with football 24/7 even as the baseball season begins . I tuned out of there when it was Belichek , Brady and potential draft picks ad nauseam . I'll listen to Dan Patrick's show where he covers all sports....without the ranting and negativity . Any Derby thoughts ? I like Chasing Freedom to nail Fierceness at the wire . And Baffert to win the Preakness with anyone of many in his stable , possibly Muth .
I’m glad I only get subjected to Gresh in the summer and on Sunday mornings. I can only take him in small doses. Is 985 still boycotting baseball talk until ratings come back on NESN? Easier to slam FSG instead of watching games. At least the afternoon crew on WEEI watches sports.
Very impressed with the pitching so far, Pivetta has been a guy I have really enjoyed when he's on. Now if the offense could be a little more consistent, we might not suck. We'll see how they do against better teams. EEI has been near unlistenable since the end of 2022 when they made those changes, no interest in really any sports radio ATM, never was a sportshub guy.

I wish we could bet them in Massachusetts! I think it is likely to happen, maybe not right away but at some point.

Oh, I agree. Just my gut feeling there is some anti-sportsbetting momentum right now. I'm hoping they stay AND we get them in MA at some point.
