The WEEI Afternoon drive show reminded me of a Performing Arts high school: No Chemistry. They would have been just as good not listening to each other...sounded that way anyway.
I have really tried to watch more baseball this year but, man oh man is it hard to watch. Need Abreu and Rafaela to improve, greatly this year. If Henry wants to bet on this young talent, which they are especially Abreu, they need development and support around them. The only person I can see hitting 20 bombs is Contreras and maybe, maybe Duran, he has a lot of muscle. I expect a trade before the deadline if the sox are in any playoff potential, if not then we ride out this mess into another offseason with high expectations and no results.
I do not even listen to the radio anymore, I used to love WEEI, you and Merloni, John Ryder from back in the day Mikey Adams at night. GTS, I like Arcane through, hope he gets a good gig.

Also, firing Alex Cora after an offensive outburst, they should have fired him the day before. I hope Varitek does not leave and whoever the hell the interim manager is, got some work to do. Although it was good to see us scoring runs before the position player came in.

got a bad feeling it's Rich Ted and Arcand, given that they've had Arcand and Ted as the temp show. Arcand deserves better than that, he does excellent at nights and would be so much better with Jones and Keefe if they do end up giving Ken the Sox
I don't think weei considered that they are also killing themselves with it. I told someone that Rich was probably joining WEEI and the first reaction was "wow, Tocuher and Hardy is going to be must-listen on Monday." I think more people will listen to 98.5 on Monday morning to hear Fred's reaction than will actually listen to the announcement live.
I saw Mike G at the Patriots Day game and got the impression that he’s not going to be working at WEEI anytime soon.

WEEI is just a hot mess. The Afternoon show is terrible and none of what you described sounds like it would change that.

I don't think Arcand goes anywhere..I was dubious when he was going to solo nitetime, but he thrives as a single host...he's good.
