It's been a long week for me, so I haven't had the chance to read over why and how Manfred he removed deceased players from the "PERMANENTLY INELIGIBLE" list. That is why it was named that way, so when the player dies, doesn't change the status. Is Pete Rose one of the best ever? Absolutely. At the same time, he was a liar, compulsive gambler and never really seemed, imo, to take true accountability.
The Blacksox I feel that same about, Shoeless Joe was just as bad, because he did nothing.
I don't follow basketball that much but, poor Tatum, that is a tough one to come back from.
That is, what I believe he is seeking. Idk what committee it will be up to decide on his candidacy but, I think most people want him in the HOF. If we think what the Hall stands for... It is a tricky situation.
Agreed. I understand why some don’t care but it’s a big deal considering who Bill is/was. I don’t think this hurts his sports legacy but it sure does tarnish his personal reputation. I think you or Kirk said it the other day, if Jordon was 48 this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but she’s 24 and young enough to be his granddaughter for crying out loud!
I understand the impulse. I just find it creepy and not interesting enough to hear about it with such frequency. It’s an instant tune-out for me, which makes me wonder how many others are starting to feel the same way.
My biggest in 1994 proclamation was Meister Brau was a suitable replacement for Budweiser.
1994 was a year, DTH.
I liked Meister Brau as a dumb kid
Have never had it....

Good looks
Agreed on Rose, Jeremy. I don't know if the endgame is trying to get him into the Hall fo Fame, but I hope not.

ANOTHER GREAT WEEK FOR THE HORSES, MUT! LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!!!
Thanks, Tommy. Hope you crushed.
This is now the Belichick gossip column. Eesh.
It's an interesting story, Dan. And he just went on TV this morning.

The reporting on this is getting pretty interesting....they might have met in 2021?

I appreciate the feedback, Dan. Going to be an interesting summer at UNC.
