I have my fingers crossed that hill man spring book is better because of Mego . She smart, articulate, has coherent thoughts and points. Plus she not being ridiculed like Courtney was on her mistakes, the boys would constantly beat down on cox which I found unacceptable. I also don’t miss Courtney religious obsession with social media. I think the show flows better with Mego.
Look…soccer is a great game. Those of us who love it don’t want it to be NFL football but we’d like a little respect as it is a sport that 90% of the world plays and loves. That’s all.
As to WEEI Mego is better, the afternoon show blows. The ratings will stink.

I imagine KJ Carson is the last of the wife-left-him, took-the-kids journeyman talk show hosts, lives in an apartment he hates to be in, and when you look at his "paycheck" for 'EEI, his compensation is somehow redirected back to Audacy, creating a "net-zero" paycheck🤣...has he no shame? St. Peter could commence the Rapture, and he would opt for a Red Sox Post-game show shift that Arcand was too lazy to go in for...am I far off on this?

completely agree with your take on soccer. I couldn't care less until I got into it during the 2014 world cup and then found a premier league team to follow since I then wanted to continue watching and have grown into other leagues and competitions since then, replacing another sport I used to love growing up, baseball. Now no longer watch baseball.
But I agree, we've been hearing forever that U.S. is on the verge, will only get better from here, future is bright, etc. Nothing really changes though. And horse racing good analogy to it being a fringe sport in the U.S. You can watch soccer every 4 years if you want, never if you want too. And pleading for more viewers to continue watching does seem weak as you mentioned. Spot on with those takes.
...and my guess is that if Mego understood her value, 'EEI couldn't afford her...and I think we're going to see a very different Coco come back on the airwaves...less vapid, some of it might be a bit calculated and contrived, but mark my words...she's going to lean into the "I have evolved...and I am Mother Earth" gig hard...no more dummy...
