Yay I got saw my name! Always appreciate the posts, only thing I can rely on weekly. Did not know you were hit by a car; I have 13 broken bones and have also been mildly hit by a car. I feel that, hope you are well. It does not appear that central Mass is open to horse racing anywhere, Gardner, Winchendon, Hubbardston, now Leominster. All this land will sit there waiting because, no horsey racey. Not sure how much the Mayor Dean had to play into this, he's been Mayor for 31 years and a huge chunk of my family lives in Leominster. Not sure where horse racing is going in this state now.

I (like many others) will never forgive Chaim for many things but thinking Blobby Dalbec was going to be the 1st basemen going forward.... The dude had a good couple months after we got Kyle then he completely turned to shit. Schwarber may have a terrible average but man when that dude connects. Every highlight I see, I'm just like, he should be in Boston. He would be peppering pesky's pole and he was such a good fit with his personality. I agree all in for him Kyle if he wants to come back and the Philles don't overwhelm him.

Never getting to hear Jerry Remy say "Schwarber" .... shame

Good looks. Thanks for answering my question, I feel honored lol

First - I'm sorry you got hit by a car...haven't seen you lately, but I have to hear about this. I can't lie, I might be inclined to do the same if I saw a man with a toddler haircut running in the street, but I would suppress it. Seriously, take care...and that really sucks about the game...that's a lot of time put in.

Being part salmon (on my father's side), I have actually started to listen to F&M, as I'm not sure there is an alternative...I'm glad I wasn't the only one getting the ick from Part-time Meathead & The Twins (they were great at Red Rocks)...although I think Johnson is ironically the most likeable one on there. Sox pregame is dry, and Mazz keeps it pretty fresh, even coming off of 4 hours talking 25% the same takes.

Mut, I'm not sure what your definition of success is, but I notice while reading about sports radio in Boston on Wikipedia, most of the players mentioned are highlighted - i.e., they also have an adjacent (what's with THAT word being everywhere?) personal page. Wiki knows no Mike Mutnansky. Just saying'...I feel like you're juuuust there...

Lastly, a rant filled with self-interests, but my view into the short-sighted nature of WEEI: Greg Hill has revived the Weiner Whiner Line as "Hill Notes"...people call in, leave messages, you know the deal. Listeners soon filled it with varied levels of humor, production values added in, grew quick.

Personally, I do few things well: as an actor, I'll wrench you through any emotion you have, make a few up, and then let you down easy. I can cook up a storm, am a damn good swimmer, and excel at one more thing I won't mention. I am also, if given enough time, witty and funny. History has led me to believe this, it is well documented. So, I have left numerous "Hill Notes"...and yes, there is a certain amount of sophistication to them - you have to keep up, and if you missed the "salmon" reference above, maybe you should just stop reading here. I've sung parody songs: "Can The Driveliners" to Steve Miller's "Jet Airliner" would have straightened Weird Al's hair, it was spot on. Objectively, I am comfortable saying this. Gold.

So you can imagine my surprise in my realizing that Chris Scheim's selection process has only 2 criteria: you must be driving, and your thought must be incomplete, thought up in the last 20 seconds, and mildly funny - to a high-school kid. He does seem to accept unintelligible/unrelated material in a pinch. Needless to say, he rarely plays anything I submit, and it really does feel like these are all club members - not particularly funny ones - but good old FOTS...friends of the show. Criteria #3, maybe? Choices made led to that impressive 6-share...Which seems to be in exactly the wrong direction for Laird...isn't he going for inclusive here? Bad look for TGHS. At least for me, it's a hobby...

I used to hang with Greg when we went to Nashoba Reg. years back, they'd come to the house, play piano and make up songs about schoolmates who were unfortunate enough to have only one testicle, but our buddy Paul Tormey should have had the show...he carried Greg for 4 years and led everybody to believe he's funny...

But gotta admit..."One Nut Is All He's Got"...banger.

Take care of yourself, Buddy. Less running.

You and your Leominster shout-outs...RIP Searstown!...🤣

Mutt get well soon!! Tyler Connor got dropped because of Arietta careless ride yesterday in Colonials 7th race. He suffered a broken nose a clean break of the C1 vertabra and fractures in his neck. It was scary when they called for helicopter and cancelled remainder of the card. He's regained feelings in his hands and feet. Limited movement in left arm is last I heard. Get well soon Mut

Some media notes (love your media stuff). First, please Celtics, no more Eddie House. He is just awful. And don’t let him be remote half the time. All these talking heads being remote when they have all this money yet they can’t afford reliable internet is very annoying as a consumer.

Also, while I am not dismayed to hear of such a quick shift to WEEI afternoons potentially happening, I am surprised. If ever there was a station deserving of being called “jock sniffers” it would be WEEI, so admitting a Ted Johnson show isn’t working must be almost impossible for them. Though I guess they will just keep him as some half-listening centerpiece and rotate a couple other drips around him.

It's a good point on Ted. And based on the texts I got last week, I won't be shocked if and when they make change. At the LEAST, Ted will be on Mondays.

p.s. I didn't really say enough, so...I was on Wikipedia because I wasn't really sure what Dave Portnoy does. Am I allowed to say that he seems like kind of a tool on here? He just reminds me of myself, so I know. I still don't understand the draw here...people act like he's Lenny Kravitz all of a sudden.
