The current afternoon show is unarguably the worst show in the history of WEEI. Feel bad for Ken. Should have done Ken and Curtis and added Mego and it would have been a good listen.

Did not know Reimer was the same age as me and I also can kind of understand his time at WEEI. It is a cutthroat business and when you are young and discovering yourself, I am sure the sports talk didn't help the most. I for one, would love to work at a radio station or somehow start a podcast or maybe even convince someone to let me be a guest so I can share my knowledge and rip on the people that others seem to miss. I hold nothing back, like my loyalty to you, Mut, IMO WEEI started to really go down the tube when they let you go, Mut @ Night was a staple in my life and as I have said before, there is no other sports talk personality (what do I even refer to you as, as writer, a journalist, a former radio host who got fucked? lol) that I agree with on so many different topics and issues than you my dude. I will always support you and your endeavors and I still hope to catch you one day and share some beer and stories.
Starting to get worried the red sox are falling back to how they were before but, I am a hopeful dude and I really hope they don't have this 27-3 stretch and then somehow miss the playoffs but, also, it's the red sox. Glad we got good enough to keep Chapman and Contreras and disappointed Duran did not get traded but who would want the worst hitter in the MLB who whines at his teammates. He is such a disappointment, honestly expected him to step up and become more of leader but, that has not happened and he's gone backwards in his attitude. He needs to develop some more maturity IMO.
Anyway, that is a long post, my b lol. Good looks and I cannot wait for my shirt.
I’m hoping the Sox get hot again and the Cubs end the season strong. I’m really rooting for a Cubs vs Red Sox World Series.
Also, while talking to a friend, I said there’s at least a 5% chance that, as the owner, Dave reads the Mutstack. My buddy said 0%. Since you’re the only guy besides Dave who can really weigh in, will you settle this for me? I even felt like 5% is probably too low.
Drake Maye was drafted in April 2024. That Friday, as a part of WEEI's Patriots Friday/Monday partnership, he talked to Jones and Mego. Since then, he has spoken to a different WEEI Afternoon show every single season. 4 shows in 4 years in the afternoon drive.
The unhinged Ted Johnson rant is especially hilarious since he took the next two days off and next week starts with the Jimmy Fund Telecast. He also sat from 2-3 without saying anything except a tease that he was fired up.
It was the first time he completed a sentence that wasn’t “Are you kidding me”, so I guess Ted might be improving. 😂
Rich said he went to see The Odyssey with his wife recently. Maybe he’ll finally get an ID card for the WGBH studios.
WEEI Afternoons is unlistenable. Ted Johnson is not a good broadcaster. He’s also super thin skinned. Tell us the BB story or shut up! He is so insufferable
