From their presentation, DK was going to focus on states where the tax rate was over 20% AND there were multiple sportsbooks. That's what I was going off of, Matt. We'll see.
Ehhh I’m out on the local celebrity podcasters. Judon used someone with followers and it got traction because of him. Lewis can get some credit for access because people like his videos but I prefer people who can ask questions.
Mut I agree they shouldn’t have let Judon situation get to where it is bad look for your defensive leader.. however, he is turning 32? coming off a pretty serious injury not exactly ready to back up the brinks truck either 6177797937
BTW...great take on Ordway a few weeks ago...I used to get SO violently angry in my car at the ludicrous, laughable drivel that came from Pete Sheppard's mouth, and the Waltham Greek (can't remember his name, but I say that because he didn't let us forget it)...I wish someone could figure out a way to revive the WWL without ripping it off, but it was so crystal clear...the purest of listener-supported call-in radio: Call in, leave as outrageous a message as possible (disparaging on-air talent a smart move if you wanted to get broadcast..."HEY SHEPPAHD!"), and tune in to see if you made the cut, or just piss your pants in amazement that this much comedy gold resided in out fair city...there were some VERY funny people calling in...a brilliant showcase...
But isn't it a bit jaw-dropping for RKK to think that Matt J. is going to watch Godchaux or whatev and other players around the league getting better contracts for less talented (and younger) players, who are not up against Papi Time, and not start to resent it? And no, the over-inflated contract trend is not Kraft's fault, but to not get Judon wrapped up before now (assuming SOMETHING - even verbally - has gotten done...he's not hanging with Oscar TG anymore, that's a start) is shortsighted. And guess what? A pro athlete handled a trade negotiation the absolute wrong way, and stormed onto the field, making himself the focus. Bad move. Big surprise. Wolf shouldn't have put Mayo in that position in the first place, as precarious as his relationship is in not only rebuilding the team but the Foxboro ideology.
I'm no accountant and I can't bet in Alabama because it's a sin and you're all going to hell. So maybe I don't fully understand but...
In the example, it seems to me that the 1.6% tax is really 3.2% tax it's levied on the entire bet, not just the winnings. The original $10 is already yours (and possibly from previous winnings that have already been taxed after 1/1/25) and is what you're risking. The winnings are only $10.
Why would NH be safe from the tax? Wouldn't DK have no problem charging it to the consumer since the consumers have no other option?

The winning tax on DK bets won't effect me much, seeing as I lose most of my bets
I miss when sports radio was enjoyable. I could listen to 8-10 hours of WEEI, and it would be fucking great. How far we have come.
It's August now, time to get older and get hopeful for the niners to lose in the superbowl, again. lol

Am I crazy (probably)?
