I think Mookie will get a mix of cheers and boos, mostly cheers, I think. I think OB has lost some passion, I forget which call it was, but one home run call was so lackluster, like telling a friend "Oh, I'm fine". Lame, I miss OB on the radio, I think that's where he does best. Lou is great, we all love Youk but he's as exciting as watching paint dry. I enjoyed Rich on the radio, I agree, Duke did not need to be there, unnecessary but not the worst thing they've done at EEI.
I believe the numbers on people who like sports and baseball, I have very little baseball friends and they are not younger than me lol, I get it a bit, baseball isn't fast, pulse pounding excitement but that's what I love about it. Not rushed by time but not standing still like before, as much as it pains me, the pitch clock is effective. They postponed the meeting for zoning for Rt. 140 for a racetrack, Mayor failed to show up, so the planning board just agreed to meet next month. Not sure what to expect now.
Maybe I'll get into horse racing later this year or next, I have a new job to prepare for and raising a toddler.
