I'll be honest with you man, I often forget that Brian O’Halloran works for the team, and no less is GM. Is there any other GM as quiet in the background as him? Really thought Chaim was GM for longer than I would care to admit. Idk what their specific goal is anymore, we loved Kike, they put him in a near impossible situation, really makes you think about the coaching staff. 2 players now, that should have been Red Sox for life, are no longer. We never would have come to this point if ownership valued them at the beginning, given Mookie a better offer and Xander, but no, we lowballed them. We gave Xander the chance to test the market and look what happened. Jerry Remy is rolling in his grave.
At this point, it isn't just bad or poor management, it's disrespectful to the fanbase, the players and the organization.
I said at the beginning of the year, that this would be Bloom's last year unless he really, really, makes some great decisions, and he has fallen short. I hope I am correct but he makes Henry's wallet happy so I fear this is not the end.
The Sox have become pretty solid about their PR spin lately. Contractually obligated interviews have become even bigger softballs, Linda Pizzutti controls Boston dot com and Beyond. Bloom went on Tom Caron’s podcast this week after that hilarious press conference.
BOH and Sam are career Sox guys. I can’t imagine those guys are going anywhere or really have any baseball ops work other than general oversight of the organization.
That jockey should never race again. Can’t be trusted

We shall see.
Have a great weekend dude.

Not a great look at all. Two of my least favorite organizations, however. So I’m actually prone to enjoy this a lot‼️
