I agree with your assessment with one exception......there is no room on any team for a player that refuses to play, and that applies even if he's arguably the best hitter on the team. (In my view Bregman is the best hitter on the team.) I believe that Devers became a cancer in the clubhouse and removing him will produce very positive results. And frankly, it really doesn't matter what we got in return because HE HAD TO GO!
