I’ll let the chart caller tell the story of our Two Minute Pick from Thursday.
Tired in the drive, indeed. Fourth in a field of five after More Than Work stumbled and unseated the rider at the break.
To say I felt confident about the pick is an understatement.
Nope, the public nailed it. The favorite galloped. Another beat. This one not tough - as the horse faded badly.
I’d make the bet again. He was a good price and had prior dirt form. But that’s the game.
Weekend!

We are OFF the turf for races 10 and 11 today, but on for three others.
We’ll focus on our Two Minute Pick - Presented by NYRA Bets. Friday’s Race 8 The Hall of Fame.
Race 1: I’m interested to see how #5 Brees runs in the opener. Shug good sprint to route and this horse showed some interest late in his debut. At least to my eyes.
I’d feel comfortable just having 3 and 8 in the off the turf finale.
But the focus is on the Hall of Fame Race 8.
Wrote about potential changes in the Triple Crown schedule today in the Friday Four-Pack.
Good luck if you’re playing. Looks like a beautiful day in Saratoga. I’ll be at the beach.
