I think I've said this before, but as a kid I went to Suffolk with my father 2-3 times a week...we lived about 15 minutes away... and I remember him telling me "You can beat a Race...BUT you can't beat the Races" !!! He would only bet the races he liked a horse or horses and would lay off the others. Very disciplined ..he didn't have a lot of money either. I guess this adage is still true today. It is almost impossible to pick winners everyday for every race . You said it perfect..
When you like a race a lot and have a feeling with the way it will run...You have to Pounce !! With that being said...It's on to the Breeder's Cup !!!
