Gotcha. I've done that in postgame - but I would not have called it live. Just be honest with the audience. "Mac Jones was just at the podium, here's what he had to say." Glenn did this all the time on the postgame show with Belichick.

I'm not sure whether or not it's important that the new guy played in Boston or with his Big Band down in Texas (look at that picture, right?!), but at least he's saying he's here to do whatever needs to be done. That would be a refreshing change from trying to do exactly what John Henry wants, but somehow chowderheading that up too. I'm on board with Brezlow like I'm down with Portzin...Porzi..P...the new Celtics guy - tall one.

Sometimes easier for a guest to tape at a different time. I don't see the issue IMO.
