OK, brag post! I had Arthur's Ride in the Whitney. Why? I hate Baffert. Mott doing well. The horse's last race was visually impressive albeit it an Allowance Optional Claimer, 46.63 half? Way too fast to last, right? Nope. Quite a training feat for Mott. From AlwOptClm claiming company to $1 million Grade I winner to guaranteed spot in the BC classic. Well done, Bill.
Aside: NYRA lost two races to the weather. Karma for not declaring last Sunday's botched start race a non-race. That'll teach 'em! (Of course, it won't,)
And I'm going with the Vekoma firster in Sunday's sixth. (Thanks, Ed, if he wins.)
Sure glad I went last week!! Nothing off the turf. Great seeing everyone (and great not seeing she who will remain unnamed) and even made some money. $28 for Hattie's chicken. Yikes. The meatball place was good.

Great seeing you, Joe. Great call on Arthur's Ride!
