For the first of two consecutive years, the 2024 Breeders’ Cup is set for Friday and Saturday at Del Mar.
If you plan on watching on TV rather than through your ADW of choice, you’ll have to bounce around quite a bit over the two days. Here’s your schedule-
Saturday will see the biggest race of the year in America - The Breeders’ Cup Classic - run as Race 8 of a 12-race card. It’s done so NBC can show the race on Network TV before college football. You can catch it on NBC at 5:41 EST/2:41 PDT.
Or watch it with me in the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook
City of Troy, Cogburn, and Thorpedo Anna highlight the star-studded card.
No matter where or when these races are run, they theoretically offer some of the best betting opportunities of the entire year.
That’s what we’re all looking for - and hopefully the MutStack Breeders’s Cup Roundtable will help you (and me) find winners and cash tickets during the 9-race Breeders’ Cup schedule on Saturday.
That’s what we’re focused on here - Races 4 through 12 all Grade Is - on Breeders’ Cup Saturday.
As someone who loves to talk about and bet on these races, it’s great to have friends/guests Jessica Paquette and Dick Jerardi on the podcast.
Jess is the voice of racing at Parx and bets mostly longshots. She has been on fire on this podcast, handing out a 47-1 winner on the Derby undercard. And then pushing winner Sieze the Grey at 9.80-1 to win the Preakness 🔥🔥🔥
Dick is one of the best handicappers in the country and over the years has picked countless winners with us and in big-money tournaments. He told us it was a bad edition of the Preakness in 2023, but that National Treasure would win. He was right.
No pod spoilers but the group likes prices all over the card. You should listen.
If you’re a racing fan, I hope you’ll share with other racing fans.
I’ll be posing a special Breeders’ Cup Final Thoughts here on Saturday morning, so you’ll want to be subscribed so you get that delivered to your email in time for the races.
Subscribing is free. And feedback on these podcasts is always welcome.
Thanks for listing and good luck this weekend!
